UserSet Up Guide

 

We think you will love your App. To set up your Sellers Hook App:

 

  • Become a Supplier by installing the app from Shopify store, then follow the instructions that follow

 

 

Installation

 

  • Step 1: Install – the App will take you through the process.
  • Step 2: Login with your Shopify details and password (We are partnered with Shopify).

 

To Create an Account

 

  • On the login page, click "Become Seller Vendor" link. Then, complete the sign up form.
  • You will receive an email that account under review along with a password to login
  • Once your account is activated you will receive a notification email.


Please be aware that accounts will be approved within 48 hours and show as “pending” in this time and you need to contact business@sellerhook.com to got your request approved. Once approved, you will have full access and can view the interface. From this dashboard, you can track orders, manage products, view customers, and have access to the Vendor’s administrators section.

 

Change Subscription Plan 


To start using the marketplace the subscription plan must be changed from Initial to Basic:



 

Account Security

 

Two Factor Authentication (TFA) is highly recommended and should be enabled to prevent cyber-attacks on your account and other possible security breaches. Sellershook supports dual factor authentication using Google authenticator. To enable TFA, access vendor administrators from customers tab and select “enable”.




Click on  your user ID from the list:



Click on two factor authentication and complete the configuration:




 

How to Import Products?

 

You can view the list of the products that you have in your store. Import these by clicking “Import list products” from Shopify.

Please note that you shouldn't import draft none active products from Shopify.

 We show you how in this image:

 



  • Import your store collections and map them to categories within Sellershook as shown in the below image. Make sure you map all collections. If not, the “import products” function will not work.

  • Click on import products and select the products you want to import, or click import all products as shown in the below image:
  • Click products from the products tab:


  • Change the product status into active.


 

Syncing the orders and products status

 

  • Ensure your store is connected like the below image where the button should be red. If you would like to disconnect your store. Then, click the "Disconnect" button.

 

 

Setting up Product Currency

Sellershook supports multiple currencies including the US dollar. However, the process of setting the currency currently is manual and should be set for each product separately. Scroll down to the procedure to find out how if you’re not sure.

Note:  The currency rate is static and it is updated periodically which impacts the rate accuracy. The customer will always get the accurate price on the checkout page.

 

Procedure:

  • Click on the product to access its details
  • Next to the product price, select the currency you are looking for from the drop down list.


 

Setting up a Payment Method

As the seller, your PayPal ID must be inserted so that you can receive payments. Here you can see the PayPal account ID has been saved. Default currency will be your store currency, and it must not be changed as Shopify might not support multiple currencies.

 

Setting up Products

  • Go to products, add products.

2. Name your product.

 

You will see that the created product is disabled by default. It will remain like this until admin changes it to active status.

 

As an admin, when you see a product has been created by the seller, it must be activated. From this menu, you can select one product or multiple products and export them into Shopify. Before you finish, - from the Shopify status, check what products have been imported or exported to Shopify. Export products to check, and it has been published. Now you will be able to see the exported product in your Shopify store.

 

 

Buying Process

 

When a customer is interested in buying your product, they will access your catalogand select the product they are looking for. They click “buy”, and then fill out all the information.

 

When you access your store the sellerhook app to and view the order, you will see that the order has been sent.

 

Shipment Process

 

All orders must be shipped by the seller. In the “orders” tab, view your order and then:

  • Select the product.
  • Select the carrier as one of these sharp, integrated and automatically updated carriers, for example, select USPS.
  • Insert the tracking number.
  • Save changes.
  • Select notify the customer.
  • Notify the order department.
  • Notify the vendor.
  •  

All the notifications can be sent via email. The order has now been shipped!

 

Payment to Seller

 

When you receive the notification from the seller that the product has been delivered, you will notice that it is delivered by one of the carriers. The status will be converted automatically into the workflow process. But you now need to pay the seller. Click  “Send sub vendors profits”. The payout status will change from red to green once you have paid your vendor.

 

 

Store Management

 

To access this function, go to “Vendors”, then click “Accounting”.

 

Here you can access the dashboard to view the statistics. The number of orders and products, as well as your revenue all can be seen here.

Fees Discount 

You can enjoy a discount by becoming part of the Sellershook advisement network, where network members are eligible for 5% transaction fees – a substantial saving on the non-members a 10% fee.

How to become part of the network:

In Shopify, navigate to "Learn about customer marketplace"in my products. Tick the checkbox to join the network and become eligible for 6% transaction fees.
